Windows 8 and SkyDrive

When Windows 8 appeared on the scene it received a lot of combined reviews. Some people loved the usage of programs and the new interface. One characteristic that attracted attention was that of Microsoft adding Skydrive to their operating system.
This helps owners protect their valuable information and it also enables them to share the information with family, buddies or business associates.

Windows 8 and SkyDrive

Skydrive is actually only an example of what cloud storage is about. If you are currently using Windows 8 and love Skydrive why not protect your whole computer in exactly the same style?

It's very easy to organize your folders in Skydrive. In the event you were in the custom of using the libraries feature you can only replace this with Skydrive. The libraries feature in Windows 8 is generally underutilized. This is a convenient manner to arrange and get your advice. Including Videos, Graphics, sounds and Documents. Just copy these folders
into your Skydrive. Subsequently only get into the habit of working from your Skydrive instead of your regular doc or sound folders.

The main benefit of working in this way is that if something does happen to your computer you will not lose all of your advice. More than one computer you can still get your Skydrive docs. Another benefit is you could work on the files in Skydrive while not connected to the web. Great if you are unsure if and are on the road you may have access to the web.

Skydrive doesn't give you a whole lot of room but don't forget you can also use Google Drive in the same fashion. Or you also may prefer to use additional cloud storage. For example Carton and Dropbox give you a certain amount of free storage. You can easily use one for your own personal data both and the other for business purposes.

Lots of people often lose their most treasured photographs since they don't believe about creating a copy of those. Should you save your pictures using some sort of cloud storage, you will not have to worry about losing them. So if your computer crashes or your laptop gets stolen you'll still have access to your photos.
